Focus
As a mediator, Martine assists you and your (former) partner in settling the divorce. Martine is a member of the Association of Family Lawyers and Divorce Mediators (vFAS), editor of the Split-online Alimony Knowledge Base and deputy justice at the Court of Appeal in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
Goal
Martine’s goal is to achieve a practical and long-term solution for the problem you are experiencing. Out of court if possible, through the courts if necessary. In both cases in good cooperation with you. After all, you have your own responsibility in finding a (sustainable) solution to the problem you are experiencing. She will advise, guide, support and, if necessary, represent you throughout the process.
Martine de Menthon Bake has registered the family law in the register of legal areas of the Dutch Bar Association. This includes divorce, parental access arrangements, private international law, juvenile protection law, mediation, parenting and recognition. As a result of this registration, Martine is required to obtain ten training points per calendar year in her field of law in accordance with the standards of the Bar Association.
